The lower rod features an engineering-grade plastic (POM) "clevis" at the end. This lower rod is designed to integrate seamlessly with the stock Minelab Equinox 700/900 middle shaft, AND ALSO with our Steve's Detector Rods 2-piece lower shaft assembly.
