Carbon-Fiber Sand Scoop Handle design/highlights...

Like our other products, our Carbon-Fiber Sand Scoop Handles have been designed with quality in mind, at an affordable price.

Our handles start with high-quality carbon-fiber tubes, with a wall thickness of 2.5mm -- which is 25% thicker than our competition -- for extra strength. Then, we reinforce the lower 6" of the handle (the portion of the handle that inserts into the "sleeve" of the scoop) by inserting a tough ABS plastic core. The remainder of the handle is foam-filled, and is capped at the top by a soft PVC hand grip. Finally, the surface of the tube features a textured, or "corrugated" feel (which some manufacturers call "sharkskin" or "fish scale" texture), which improves grip -- especially when the handle is wet.

Our Xtreme and Stealth Scoop Handles also include a marine-grade 316 stainless-steel threaded insert at the bottom (which these two scoop brands require), plus the necessary screw and fender washer (also made from marine-grade 316 stainless steel).
