The Excali-Probe is a fantastic new offering for detectorists, produced by fellow detectorists. The probe is a precision-engineered, heavy-duty, 304 stainless-steel probe designed for
a perfect fit into the inside of your Minelab Manticore or Minelab Equinox 700/900 shaft. Simply remove the end cap from the shaft, and the Excali-Probe slides in and secures in place.
Once installed, the probe is entirely concealed, though at just under 8 ounces, offers the added benefit of providing a small amount of counterweighting, thus improving the feel/swing
of the unit. The probe is perfect for finding buried items such as bottle or garbage pits -- which are often hinted at while detecting, during target recovery. At 21 inches, the probe
can easily find deeply buried items, and with it securely and unobtrusively included inside your shaft, it is instantly available when needed.
More information about the Excali-Probe, along with a video describing the product and its uses, can be found at this website.
