Manticore Carbon-Fiber Lower Rod Design Highlights...

Our new Manticore carbon-fiber lower rods have been designed to pair seamlessly with the stock Minelab Manticore shaft. As with all of our products, the Manticore lower rods have been designed with quality in mind, at an affordable price. Made of high-quality 100% 3K carbon-fiber tubes (with ridged/matte surface finish to integrate aesthetically with the stock Minelab shaft), you can expect high performance, and perfect fit with your existing Manticore shaft.

For those Manticore users with multiple coils, and simply wanting an extra lower rod to keep attached to each coil for quick/easy in-the-field coil swaps, our Manticore lower rods are a perfect choice; they are available in "standard" length (23 1/4"), or in "tall-man" configuration -- 27 1/4" length. They also come in a choice of colors -- the traditional black carbon-fiber pattern, as well as red/black, green/black, and blue/black carbon fiber options.

Finally, for those who prefer, I also produce the middle shaft section, for the Manticore -- and this middle section can be purchased along with a lower rod as a "two-piece lower shaft." These two sections attach using one of my heavy-duty, clamp-type cam locks, and this two-piece assembly then attaches directly to the stock Minelab upper shaft. Purchasing the two-piece assembly makes coil swaps even easier (less wrapping of the coil cable is needed when you have the coil attached to both shaft sections, as opposed to just the lower rod), and this assembly is also ideal for those who wish to add more color to their shaft -- i.e. BOTH the middle AND lower shaft sections, as opposed to just the lower rod.
